Production "Value" & Netflix

Being a very small boutique production house, we differentiate our services by being flexible with our clients, and really trying to hone in on the target market. The target market tells us what style of video is appropriate. For example, in a short video, the CEO of Netflix recently apologized to his customers for not communicating the recent price change structure properly. What is significant about this video is how informal it is. Netflix is a multi-billion company. They could have paid tens of thousands of dollars for a slick production. Yet, the video looks to have been produced with nothing more than a tripod and a consumer HD camera. It doesn’t even sound like they used professional microphones.
